PROGRAM
Day 1
Day 1
Windhoek
Welcome to the capital of Namibia, the colonial city of Windhoek, which is surrounded by high mountains and vast desert expanses. In the morning, immediately upon arrival, we will go to the rental point, where we rent Toyota Hilux expedition jeeps, they are already equipped with everything necessary for long and comfortable trips, including 2 tents on the roof of the jeeps. After that, we will go for breakfast to a local restaurant to get to know the national cuisine of Namibia. In this country, food is one of the main attractions, because in local establishments it is absolutely legal to order dishes from exotic animals (zebras, antelopes, etc.), as well as enjoy a variety of fish and seafood.
Leaving Windhoek, we start an expedition through the untouched nature of the African continent. We are waiting for a long and scenic drive to Sossusvlei - we will drive 405 km in jeeps. and we will spend about 4-5 hours on the road. This desert is considered the oldest in the world and stretches for 1600 km. along the coastline of Namibia. This is truly a cosmic place - rich orange dunes around and an azure blue sky - and all this color splendor in the ringing silence of the desert! In the central part of the desert, right next to an extinct forest in the middle of huge dunes in the Namib-Naukluft National Park, there is a clay Sossusvlei - one of the most popular attractions on the planet, which has gained popularity due to its monumental dunes, the highest of which is 325 meters. These star-shaped dunes inspire artists and photographers from all over the world. In the evening we will drive to the famous dune 45 to see off the setting sun. The evening sun will illuminate the orange dunes - the view will be breathtaking! Today we will consider the night sky and look for the constellations of the Southern Hemisphere. Overnight stay at Desert Quiver Camp. The hotel is very well located - just 5 km from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei.
Day 2
Day 2
In the morning we wake up in the realm of silence, where the air is saturated with calmness and serenity. Today we have an early rise because at sunrise we will go to the valley of death - Deadflay, to take thousands of beautiful photos and collect full sneakers of sand. The valley of death was formed on the site of a dried-up river, surrounded by 400-meter dunes, where the skeletons of large trees still continue to stand against the background of a dazzling blue sky and bright red hills. Once upon a time there was an oasis and trees grew, but then the river changed its course, and due to lack of moisture, all plants died. Moreover, it is so dry here that the wood could not even rot naturally, but was mummified. When the sun rises over Death Valley, dead trees cast their shadows on the hot sand. All this together, with the blue of the sky and the red hues of the dunes, creates an impressive landscape in a completely lifeless place! In the afternoon we will drive through the deserted roads of the Namib Desert National Park to the Sesriem Canyon. This canyon was formed about two million years ago, when the Tsauchab River, which was full-flowing in those distant times, carved its way through solid sedimentary rocks. The gorge is 1 kilometer long, 30 meters deep, its width in some places is only 2 meters. We check into Moon Mountain Lodge - a place with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges and desert landscape.
Day 3
Day 3
Swakopmund
Breakfast at Moon Mountain Lodge and move to a town on the Atlantic coast. Swakopmund is the most famous resort in Namibia.
It is located in the central part of the Atlantic coast, 360 km west of Windhoek. Sometimes visiting travelers say that the city is like a Bavarian village. German speech is heard on the streets, as a legacy of the colonial era, because in 1892 the city was founded by German colonists, and for a long time it was a major port of the colony. Such a Namibian Riviera - palm trees and cafes, museums and pubs, restaurants and souvenir shops. There is a certain European tone to this African city. In numerous restaurants we will be greeted with delicious seafood. There is something to see here - for example, the 1905 Warman Tower, from which you can take a look at the coast and the desert, as well as the 1901 courthouse, now the summer residence of the President of Namibia is located here. We will also see the former building of the Station in 1901, now it is a chic hotel. The center of Swakopmund is full of shops, restaurants, bars and casinos. We check into Swakopmund Delight. And then we will go for a ride on quad bikes.
Day 4
Day 4
Walwis Bay
Early in the morning we have breakfast at Swakopmund Delight and drive to Walwis Bay. Here, on an open catamaran, we will have an 8-hour walk among dolphins, pelicans, fur seals and a tour to the desert, where, through the dunes, we will try to drive in jeeps right along the endless colorful beach where the Namib desert has been blowing away for millions of years and it unites with the Atlantic. Sandwich Harbor is one of the most beautiful places in Namibia and our planet. Once here, you find yourself in a completely unique place! This is the place where the highest sand dunes of the Namib Desert and the Atlantic Ocean meet. All over the world, only two countries have huge dunes falling into the Ocean, these are Namibia and Angola. Fresh ocean breeze, birdsong, and incredible open spaces - this area is an amazing sight. In the evening we will return to Swakopmund. Overnight at Swakopmund Delight.
Day 5
Day 5
Spitzkoppe
In the morning we have breakfast at Swakopmund Delight. Before lunch we have free time - you can organize fishing or fly on an airplane. Next, we will move to the Spitzkop National Reserve. The first point of our today's route will be the ancient giant Spitzkoppe rock, which is often called the African Matterhorn. This rock is especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset, when the brown and gray granite takes on shades of saffron and ocher. We will spend the night in tents in the Spitzkopf National Nature Reserve. Tonight we will spend at the campsite. We will spend the night in comfortable tents, which we can easily set up on the roofs of our jeeps. Then we will cook dinner on the fire and enjoy the fantastic night sky. This night will be remembered for a long time!
Day 6
Day 6
Himba tribe
We have breakfast and go to the Damaraland region to see the rock paintings. Far from civilization, the Himba tribes and real nomadic Bushmen live. We will have an excursion to the exotic village of local residents Ovahimba, where we will get acquainted with the way of life, habits and traditions of the Himba - beautiful and proud people who still live according to the strict ancient rules of their tribe, despite civilization.

We learn about the way of life in which they live up to 70, and sometimes up to 100 years. Let's try to figure out hairstyles, what each of them means, and learn about the main secret of Himba - how you can not wash all your life and still have such smooth, perfect skin. We stay overnight at Hobatere Lodge. Located on the banks of the Otyovasandu River in the northwestern part of the country, Hobatere Lodge is also known as "Little Etosha". We will spend the night wrapped in the magic of nature, listening to the quiet sounds of nocturnal animals and admiring the bright stars of the African night sky and the magnificence of the Milky Way.
Day 8
Day 8
Etosha National Park
November is the end of the dry season and is a good time for safari in Africa. Due to the lack of rainfall, dirt roads are of good quality, and animals tend to waterholes, where they can be found in high concentrations. Etosha is one of the few national parks in Africa where you can go anywhere in search of animals. We will definitely make a morning and evening jeep safari in search of new unique shots from the life of the inhabitants of the park, and today we will have the whole day to hone our skills in tracking down our favorite animals, and we will suggest and show the best routes. Overnight stop at ETOSHA SAFARI LODGE. We will dine under the starry dome on the outside veranda, sit next to a blazing fire, or watch the red orb of the sun gracefully plunge into the horizon from the terrace for sunset. When the stars begin their heavenly show, the day couldn't be better. Etosha, the heart of the country, beckons with the immense beauty of nature.
Day 9
Day 9
Return to Windhoek
Enjoy a leisurely morning and a delicious breakfast. After a short rest, we go to the capital Windhoek. The journey will take about 5 hours. Upon arrival, we return the rental jeeps and go to the hotel. For everyone - a day when you can leisurely stroll through the local streets, enjoy the local cuisine and buy souvenirs.
Day 10
